Harp Therapy

Harp therapy is where the harp's music is used as a tool to promote health and healing on all levels – physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. .

Why Therapy?

 My love of music started at a young age. My first instrument was the flute. My purpose for learning the flute was to use music as a tool during Bible evangelistic meetings. I loved playing the hymns. I started playing the harp in High School in 2008. I went on to take lessons in college 2011-2014. I have taken my little harpsicle lap harp all over the world playing for my children's Bible meetings. In 2016, I started the International Harp Therapy certification Program by Christina Tourin.  The tools learned have really been a blessing through my own personal tragedy. However, I found the greatest comfort in Jesus. I loved using what I learned in the program to create a cradle of sound for my patients during my internship. Please note I do not believe in meditation and will not be using it in my practice. I have completed 55 bedside hours and am certified by National Standards Board for Therapeutic Musicians.

Background:
I am a Seventh-Day Adventist. I love Jesus with all my heart. At the age of seven I chose to follow Jesus in Baptism. Soon after, I went on my first mission trip to mexico. I grew up in a missionary home. I have had the privilege assisting in Medical clinics and evangelist programs on every continent of the world except Antarctica. Eleven years of my life have been overseas.

Hobbies:
I enjoy baking, knitting, reading, hiking, traveling, music, and humanitarian work. I also enjoy teaching children about the Bible. I love teaching beginners music! .
